Elizabeth Throne plans a major in Marketing and/or Advertising at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. She attended high school in Syracuse (NY) and comes from a family that is model aviation oriented. In 1983 and 1985, she was a worker at the Chicopee Nats. She has been a regular helper at the annual symposium run by the Central New York Modelers. Elizabeth completed a radio-controlled aircraft recently and plans to improve her skills.
As a student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, and as an athlete, she enjoyed swimming and running. She is an accomplished writer and equestrian.
Her community activities included volunteer work for both the Cancer Society and the Heart Association, and she has been involved with local youth athletic seminars and meets.
