Pancho Morris, of Dallas, Texas, is both a dedicated Soarer and a dedicated helper of other people. He has been involved with several phases of modeling, including cars, boats, kites, Sailplanes, Gas and Electric power. He is a significant asset to Dallas.

In 1987, as president of both the Eastfield Boomers and the Southwest Soaring League (SSL), he provided valuable guidance and leadership to the Soaring community in his region. Pancho makes his opinions known, and shares additional knowledge as editor of the SSL newsletter. Contest Director, teacher, builder, flier, helper, and organizer, Pancho has made his mark in a special way. He certainly deserves the title unsung hero and the recognition that the Vital People Award program brings.
