Warren Hitchcox

Warren Hitchcox, just beginning his 10th year as President of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada, died on February 15. He was a famous competitor, having been a member of Canada’s RC Aerobatics team many times. He was also Canada’s voting delegate to the FAI’s Committee for International Aero Modeling (CIAM). A great friend of AMA, he often worked closely with USA officers, as shown here when he (left, see magazine for photograph) shared the M.A.A.C. booth with AMA Executive Director John Worth at the Hobby 1980 trade show last year in Toronto.
