Mark Bibbey of Powell, Wyoming, received a $3,000 Charles Hampson Grant award. He is attending Arizona State University and is working toward a degree in aerospace engineering. Mark maintained a perfect four-point average in his studies in high school. Mark was involved in a variety of school activities. In athletics, he participated in football and track. These led to his participation in the athletic letter club. Band accounted for part of his time, as did the Art Guild, French Club, Fellowship for Christian Athletes, and the National Honor Society. Mark earned many honors and awards, especially through his band participation. His community-service activities included work for the VFW/American Legion and his church. Mark’s modeling experience began with Guillow’s stick-and-tissue models. In 1992, he began working with Radio Control models and is proud to state that the model he has been flying since 1993 has a “zero-crash record.” He is currently working on a P-51. Mark is a member of the Wyoming Sagebrush Hoppers R/C Club.
